Hawzah News Agency- Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah congratulated Masoud Pezeshkian on his election as Iran's new president.

In the message of the leader of Hezbollah of Lebanon, it is stated,” I congratulate you on this auspicious election by the noble nation of Iran, and I ask the Almighty God to protect, help, and support you to realize your hopes and desires. May these dedicated and loyal people succeed.”

We in Hezbollah and all the resistance movements and as a part of the nations of the region, which for many years have started an unlimited confrontation with the Zionist usurper regime and the American domination, look at the Islamic Republic as a strong, stable support for the resistance and the oppressed. This process has been in place since the victory of the Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) and after that the leadership of Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei and successive governments of the Islamic Republic.

God willing, we will continue this path with you until we reach the final victory, the main pillar of which will be a strong, dignified, and powerful Islamic Iran. I ask the Almighty God to grant you strength, and health, to accomplish what brings happiness to the believers and the oppressed with your hands.

Leaders worldwide have sent congratulation messages on Pezeshkian’s election victory which makes him the ninth president of Iran.

Pezeshkian succeeds the late Ebrahim Raisi who lost his life in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran on May 19.
